Dedicated to the memory of Ethan Hunter

Ethan Robert George Hunter

It is with great sadness, that we announce the untimely passing of Ethan Hunter, adored and cherished by his mum Kimberley and dad Fraser, a big brother to Harvey and Ronan, a loved grandson, cousin and nephew and friend to so many.

A little boy who loved many things including Mario, Hot Wheels and Scooby Doo, his favourite character being Daphne. He was always listening to music or playing board games and before his illness, joined a drama class to pursue his love of dancing, so much so he got the lead role in his first show.

Ethan was an extremely intelligent boy who amazed the nurses and doctors with his math skills, he could do complex sums and times tables in his head without any help.

Ethan was brave throughout his illness and left a lasting impression on all who met and knew him, he will be missed by all.

We will celebrate and honour Ethan’s life on Tuesday 6th August 2024, memorial service at Mortonhall Crematorium Main Chapel at 11am, followed by interment at Liberton Cemetery, to which all are welcome to attend. Live stream details of the memorial service available, please email grant@porteousfunerals.com.

No set dress code but if you wish to wear something that reminds you of Ethan or gives a nod to his character and memory then please do.

Should you wish to do so, you can donate in Ethan’s memory online or at the service for Team Jak and Love Oliver. Both charities have been such a support to Ethan and the family.
